Saxophone Lessons

Private Saxophone Lessons for the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities area

Specializing in jazz and popular music styles with an emphasis on ear training, practical theory, and performing skills

All lessons are tailored to suit the tastes and requirements of each individual student. Instruction is based upon a strong working knowledge of scales. The informed use of these scales leads to a heightened understanding of music theory, chord progressions, and ear training. Recording is encouraged as a method of determining progress. Specialized instruction is given to those switching to saxophone from flute or clarinet. Rudimentary instruction is also available for saxophonists wishing to learn flute and/or clarinet.
